What Is Tread-Match Technology?
Tread-Match™ is a patented technology that allows us to take any luxury vinyl material, laminate or engineered flooring right out of the box, and make stair treads and nosings. We offer rounded or square profiles to skin over most standard-sized steps. In addition, Tread-Match™ now offers left and right returns & double open returns for open steps.

THE MANUFACTURING PROCESS
Using our patented device, that is made in the U.S.A., and customer supplied material, we can manufacture up to 65″ vinyl, laminate & engineered flooring stair treads and nosings. It is designed and crafted to accommodate any thickness and any core available on the market today.
Shipping
Determine how USVB will receive the material to be manufactured. USVB can pick up the material within a 50-75 mile radius for a fee. Customer can ship the material to USVB located @ 55 Aileron Ct,

Ordering
Fill out the USVB order form or email us at usvb@ladybaltimorefloors.com Please include PO or reference # SKU # and number of TREAD-MATCH products needed to complete your project.
Manufacturing
After USVB receives your material our team will start the manufacturing process and will have it complete and ready to ship back out within 1 week or less depending on the size of the order.
Tread Match™ treads and nosings are designed and crafted to accommodate any thickness and core available on the market today and come with a 2 year limited liability warranty.

A stair tread and a stair nosing are both parts of a stair, but they serve different purposes:
Stair Tread
The tread is the horizontal surface of the step that you walk on.
It spans the full depth of the step, from the front edge (the nosing) back to the riser.
Its main function is to provide a stable, supportive walking surface.
Treads are usually wider and carry most of the weight when someone is on the stairs.
Stair Nosing
The nosing is the front edge of the tread, often rounded or beveled, that projects slightly beyond the riser beneath it.
It’s both a safety and design feature:
Safety: Adds extra space for your foot to land, improving grip and reducing trip hazards.
Durability: Protects the tread from wear since this edge sees the most traffic.
Code Compliance: Many building codes require nosings for proper stair depth and visibility.

US Vinyl Floor Bending can make most custom made Treads.
A detailed dated and signed drawing will be required to make any custom-made orders.
After review we will contact you to confirm that we can manufacture the requested drawing a price and a completion date will be given at that time for your approval.
Our typical lead time once we receive the material is 1 week or less depending on the size of the order.
Special orders may add additional time.
2 planks of material are needed to make each tread or nosing plus small waste factor.
Example: If you need 12 Treads and 1 nosing, we need at least 26 planks of material. Ideally 30 planks would be enough to cover the potential waste factor.
For open treads we will need 2 ½ planks per tread.
We will return any unused material.
Its important to know how many planks are in each box.
US Vinyl Floor Bending can get most popular brands of luxury vinyl laminate or engineered flooring. We do require material to be paid for prior to manufacturing.
Please follow the instructions provided in every box of Tread-Match Products.
With extensive testing we have found that installing all the treads first using a good quality saline based adhesive works best. Then install all the risers using again a good quality saline-based adhesive.
Please follow the instructional videos provided for open treads.
A full trowel gluing method is required.
No liquid nails or PL glue should be used!
Please follow the instructions provided in every box of Tread-Match Products.

If your existing steps have a radius on one side or both you will need to square off the steps before installing Tread-Match Products.
After the steps are squared off you can install your new Tread-Match Products.
The customer has an option to ship to and from our location. Or US Vinyl Floor Bending can acquire shipping cost from one of our many carriers to provide a competitive quote.
Any customers that are 75 miles or closer to our facility we can pick up and deliver for a nominal fee.
Yes, all Tread-Match Products come with a 2 year limited liability warranty from date of proof of purchase.
